For most locations in the North West and North Central we can mobilise a drilling crew within 3 to 5 working days of instruction. Remote sites and large piling mobilisations require longer lead time — we will confirm a firm date with your quotation.
It depends on the footprint, structural loading and expected ground variability. As a general guide, a small building may need 2 to 3 boreholes, while a bridge typically requires at least one per pier or abutment. Send us your layout and we will propose a scope.
Depth is governed by the significant depth of influence of the foundation — commonly 1.5 to 2 times the foundation width below founding level for shallow footings, and well into competent strata below the anticipated toe for piled foundations.
Typically 2 to 3 weeks from completion of fieldwork, allowing for laboratory testing (consolidation and soaked CBR testing alone take several days) and engineering interpretation. Preliminary field findings can be issued earlier if your programme requires it.
Yes. We regularly carry out independent load testing and low-strain integrity testing on piles constructed by others, and we report findings without regard to who installed them.
Yes. We mobilise nationwide and have delivered projects in Abuja, Gombe, and across the South East and Niger Delta. Remote and difficult-access sites are routine for our crews.
Site location, the type and size of structure planned, approximate loading if known, your programme dates, and any specification or scope document you have been issued. Drawings help but are not essential to start.
Our reports are prepared and signed by qualified engineers to recognised standards (BS and ASTM), and are routinely submitted to consulting engineers, developers and government agencies.
