Deep Foundations
Bored, CFA, Under-Reamed & Micropiling
From setting out and boring through cage installation and tremie concreting to as-built records, every pile we install is documented. Typical diameters range from 400 mm to 1200 mm, achievable to around 40 m depending on strata and rig configuration.
Bored & CFA Piling
Rotary bored piles with temporary or permanent casing for variable strata and high-capacity requirements, plus low-vibration CFA piling for sites sensitive to noise and adjacent structures.
Cages & Tremie Concreting
Reinforcement cage fabrication, spacer fixing and controlled lowering, followed by continuous tremie placement to avoid cold joints and segregation. Cubes sampled for every pour.
As-Built Pile Records
An individual record per pile: position, date, bore depth, strata encountered, groundwater, reinforcement details, concrete volume against theoretical, and cube results.
Piling Methods We Deliver
- Bored cast in-situ piles (400 mm – 1200 mm)
- Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) piles
- Under-reamed piles with belled bases
- Micropiles for restricted access and underpinning
- Pile trimming and cut-off to design level
Quality & Verification
- Base cleaning and inspection prior to reinforcement
- Continuous strata logging and toe-level confirmation
- Concrete volume tracked against theoretical volume
- Cube sampling and laboratory strength testing
- Load and integrity testing on completed piles
